D2YC 2011 Crew at BGF Food Fair!

“Hey all, Carmen here!
This is my first time contributing to a post on www.d2y.my and I am really excited! I’ve got a few things to let you readers know but I will have to K.I.S.S (keep it short and simple) as I have to rush to class in 5 minutes. They are really important so do read till the VERY end. =)
 
1) The number of participants who registered for D2YC has been increasing steadily and if you do not want to miss out an incredible experience at D2YC 2011, sign up HERE immediately to book your spots! =)

2) D2Y and its Lion Dance Troupe will be making a presence at the BGF FOOD FAIR on the 13th November 2011, this Sunday at SJK(C) Yuk Chai from 9am to 3pm! We will be having our Camp Registration Booth there and we will be expecting to receive many more on-the-spot registrations!

Taiwan Trip Day 2 :)

Sorry for the long overdue post was busy with my exams >w<! & Finally it’s over !!  
Here’s the post for Taiwan – Day 2 !

The very next day after we arrived at Taiwan, we were brought to the Museum to see some jades and stuff. No photography were allowed through out the tour at the museum.

So after the tour around the museum, we were than allow to take some pictures [ outside the museum], and we were also rushing to our next destination..

After the shots, we were than back to bus for an hour or two drive to our next destination !
Along the way was bored ~ So got some few snapshots ! [ in the bus]

And finally we reached our next destination :)

Since its a one week trip and it’s all around Taiwan! So we were rushing to every places we go… Tiring but fun :) So another few hours drive till we reached a town and we had our lunch there :P

Had our lunch here :) Pork/Chicken/Beef/Fillet Fish with mee on hot plate.

Some kid with a dog! thought wasn’t real till it moves…

After lunch and everything waited for the train for approx 2 hours ~ To our next destination Xin Cheng (Taroko).

And after the performance and all off to dinner. Was hungry throughout the performance… and an hour drive to the place we’re going to have our dinner !

Taiwan Trip – Day 1

Went on a family trip to Taiwan with my family and relatives last week.
The entire family :D “ First Family Trip”

First Day: Airport -  BUS- Food Court- Hotel.

Depart from KLIA at 2.30pm on the 4th of September 2010 and took about 4 hours and 30 min to reach Taiwan.

Airplane’s food was ok ok only  ~ .

And was using their touch-screen multimedia screen to watch movies :D

Touchdown Taiwan at 7.10pm and the worst was have to wait for another group to arrive which is an hour wait.

Epic-ness you don’t find in Malaysia :D

After claiming out bags, went to this cafe at the airport to have a light dinner while waiting for the other group to arrive.

In the mean time, played with my youngest cousin running here and there like nobody’s business :D

Tasted like loh mai fan + pork + big onion.

Start tweeter-ing and facebooking at the airport as there is free-wifi >:D

The next group arrived and walk to the bus :D

Take about 45 minute to reach out next destination of the day- Some food court.

Walk around and see what is nice :D

Their beef noodle is a must to try :D

Pork soup with lots and lots of pork :D (non-halal)

The beef noodle ! Delicious !!!!

After having our dinner, another must try is their drink.

White Bitter gourd juice (not that bitter compared to Malaysia punya bitter gourd which is green in color).

And have you heard of Uncle Bob’s chicken in Malaysia? Same style but Taiwan style :D

Just normal fried chicken :P

So after that check in to the hotel and sleep.

First day ain’t hectic compared to the others day ….
